Aged Care

We understand that we are working in people’s homes, and work very closely with the customer to ensure as little disruption as possible whilst delivering maintenance services. As with the Child Care Sector, we also ensure that anyone delivering services has a valid ‘working with the aged’ police check and a Statutory Declaration.

Planned Maintenance

The most cost-effective way to adequately service your properties/assets is to have works completed on a routine schedule.  At UMS Advantage, we believe in preparation and prevention with regard to maintenance. We understand the daily needs of a job or organisation that requires high or low maintenance; planning ahead for any eventuality is a must in today’s climate.

Reactive Maintenance

Reactive maintenance is present in all maintenance strategies, mainly because properties are a dynamic asset and things go wrong. Approximately 55% of maintenance activities in the average facility are still reactive. Two industry “rules of thumb” say that you should aim for only 20% of your maintenance time to be devoted to reactive maintenance, and that in reality teams spend about 45% of their time doing reactive maintenance.

In addition to our larger scaled projects, we accommodate small to modest sized projects for our customers. Whether it’s a coat of paint to a full interior renovation, UMS Advantage will bring the same quality and experience to our smaller projects as we do to our larger projects. We will even complete maintenance and repair jobs on plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, test & tagging, graffiti removal, gutter cleaning and landscaping.
